Therapeutic Foster care-Therapeutic Foster Care Enhanced RFP Announcement

March 17, 2017

The ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES  seeks qualified vendors to provide Therapeutic and Therapeutic Foster Care-Enhanced Services for children. Therapeutic and Therapeutic Foster Care-Enhanced Services for children are time-limited intensive interventions for children, who are in the custody of the state, unable to live at home, and who fit the diagnostic and behavioral criteria set forth by the Department. Therapeutic and Therapeutic Foster Care-Enhanced Services provide less restrictive, community-based services for children whose special needs can best be met through services delivered primarily by trained therapeutic foster parents. Therapeutic and Therapeutic-Enhanced foster parents work in full partnership with the child, the child’s family, and everyone on the Individualized Service Planning (ISP) Team.
